LATEST INFORMATION ON THE 10%.

LET DOWN AGAIN BY THE CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT.

After campaigning since 2014 for a change to the 10% commission charge .  Obtaining an Independent Report on that subject and receiving information that a roundtable meeting would be arranged to discuss the 10% commission charge before the end of December 2023.  It is totally understandable that yet again, park home residents feel extremely let down.

In April 2024 at an APPG meeting, PHOJC directly asked the Housing Minister when the roundtable meeting would be help.  There was no sensible answer from the Housing Minister who simply said SOON.  When asked how soon was soon.  He replied, soon.  Then a general election was called and we can be forgiven for feeling that park home residents have been pushed into the long grass.

PHOJC  has vowed to follow this through in its manifesto and we will continue to update you on the 10% commission charge.
