Sonia's PHOJC Story

   To quote the English proverb" From little acorns might oaks grow" Now that I have a great Team who are helping to take PHOJC into the future, I believe it would be a shame if the true story of how PHOJC evolved was lost for ever.  Many residents - including some who have already passed away - have played their part in our epic battle to get the law changed.  We the little people from all over our country did what no other park homes campaign group has done – and together we succeeded.  Although it has meant that I have had to bare my soul, I felt compelled to write this book because:

"Once upon a time, a true story needed to be told. It tells of greed, theft, cruelty, fear, homelessness and intimidation that produced consequences which created the National Park Home Owners JUSTICE Campaign. Changed the law (twice) and sent two men to prison - because there is a dark side to park home living.  It is not told from a campaign platform or by the hand of an experienced writer, but quietly disclosed from the heart of 'this old biddy' who was insulted and labelled as such by a person of absolutely no consequence. But it's no fairy tale."

A donation from the sale of this book will be divided equally between: the National Park Home Owners JUSTICE Campaign and Helping Homeless Veterans UK.

PHOJC needs donations to further its work to bring about changes to help all park home residents and I chose Helping Homeless Veterans UK because I was made homeless, and my late husband had been a soldier.(Both organisations give 100% of their donations to their causes)
